Parenting is one of the most significant and rewarding callings we can undertake, yet it can be one of the most challenging. At The PARENT Principles, our mission is to empower Christian parents and guardians to thrive as people so they can thrive as parents by focusing on six core principles encapsulated in the acronym PARENT.

Finding time to reflect and develop our relationship with God can sometimes be a real challenge for parents. Although essential in so many ways, maintaining consistency and developing intimacy can feel overwhelming. I remember feeling paralysed by the sheer volume of things I thought I needed to pray about. Praying for myself often fell off the bottom of the list. As a result, I found myself running close to empty, which made it hard to parent well or create the peaceful, Christ-centred home I longed for.

This is where Think Pray Pause can make a difference.
Subscribe to receive a weekly email inviting you to meditate on a single Scripture or short passage that aligns with The PARENT Principles. Weekly instalments provide flexibility and consistency so you can prioritise prayer and spiritual reflection. The guided approach includes:

-
A focus Scripture, chosen to encourage and inspire
-
Think: Thought-provoking questions to help you reflect on the Word of God and how it applies to your life
-
Pray: A prayer prompt to help you speak to God from your heart
-
Pause: An invitto pause and listen, making space for the Holy Spirit to guide and refresh you
-
Bonus: An optional complimentary activity to help you apply the week's focus to your life

By focusing on one Scripture at a time, you can draw closer to God without feeling overwhelmed. This weekly rhythm can help you grow spiritually while equipping you to parent with love, patience and purpose. You can Think, Pray and Pause in any order or configuration you like and in the time available to you.

Let Think-Pray-Pause be a tool to nourish your soul and deepen your relationship with God —one step at a time.
